]]> I was in Newport Beach on meetings.  I only had one free night, so I decided to export the Balboa Pier. It was a rather long walk from my hotel, so I took a taxi both ways. The Balboa Peninsula Park and Pavilion area are really nice to visit, but surprisingly, they all closed at sunset… except Ruby’s all the way at the end of the Balboa Pier.

I stopped there, had a cheeseburger and shake, then headed back.

It was a really beautiful sunset and a really very peaceful and quiet time of day.
